It was a pretty bold and out of character thing for me to say. I'm a pessimist, to say it positively. I hate that about myself, but pessimism comes so naturally. To anticipate good outcomes and not worry about the what-ifs, it doesn't happen often.
So to prepare for the immigration interview (think The Proposal - or at least I was), we were advised to have proof of our relationship. Like photos and such. I had fun going through the hard drives and picking out pictures (other than our wedding pics) to show we were who we said we were - married people that loved each other. I then realized we didn't have many pictures together since one of us is usually holding the camera. But I couldn't help but smile at what we did have some pretty crappy pictures with some pretty awesome memories. So I thought I'd share them here.
And if you're keeping up with our journey, we're headed to Florida within the next few days for his final job interview. Hopefully, it will all work out and we'll soon be Floridians. But if not, there's always Raleigh (take that, pessimism!)

Hope your weekend's a good one. Or rather, your weekend's going to be a good one!

I like the positive confession, btw.
Girl, you have been to some amazing places on some amazing adventures, but none so amazing as your beautiful family! :) I caught myself smiling through the WHOLE post! Loved it! :)
Look at all your travels and your awesome family! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you will soon be Floridians! Happy Weekend!
Adorable pictures of your family!
I'll have to show my husband ,so he'll try and look less like Hitler in our family photo's.
I guess I'm a little confused as to why it sounds like you have to get a VISA to be Floridians. (???)
Or maybe I'm just senile. I had to "prove our lives " like that ...the pictures , emails , everything to get a VISA to go to England. Naturally , I applied for the wrong type and none of that was needed.
Like I said...senile. My bad.
Getting my British visa was a piece of cake compared to his American one! All it took was a bunch of money and a few phone calls. But here, the paperwork was out of control. But I hear ya, visas in any country are a pain!
I love the one of Noah in IKEA going GET ME OOOOOOUT which followed the one w all the IKEA bedroom stuff lol
Also, where in Florida??
