Happy

This week's theme was hard for me. Pretty much cause I didn't choose it! But I love a challenge and I hope I've done an acceptable job. I really can't wait to see what you've done! You never let me down!
When I first thought about it, I had a vague idea of what vintage was, but I needed something a bit more concrete. As in guidelines. I basically pinpointed the year 1900 and took pictures that reminded me of that. So without further ado...
This was on the side of a building in Dublin.
Michal gave me these gloves for Christmas. I love them. And to me, they seem vintage-y.
These plaques are in the school chapel.
These wooden boards are old Haileybury boards from the infirmary. There are boards dating back to the early 1900s. Students who were sick in the infirmary carved their names and sometimes their house crest into the boards. I love seeing stuff like this around campus. It gives such a feeling of history.
This was a pub in Dublin. It was just plain cool looking.
If you've taken WW pictures with a vintage theme, link up and join in the fun. Be sure to visit all the entries and come back here on Thursday to vote for a winner. Winner again gets to pick the next theme!
(Be careful when you link up... Mr. Linky's a smart little widgit and will remember the url you used the last time you linked up to something!)

I love your photos! I love the infirmary boards, what an unusual piece!
Rachel, you take the most beautiful pictures! After I finally buy a decent camera I want you to come give me lessons :)
I love the infirmary boards too! So cool!
PS- I'm glad I wasn't the only one who did a "Wordy" Wednesday this week. (I swear I just talk too much in general, lol!)
HOW COOL.... amazing how things used to be vs. how things are now... I often think back to how things were ages ago... and how my lineage goes back to the potato pickers in Ireland... and it is just amazing... great pics!
I totally took a different approach! Love your SUPER pictures.
This is a fun theme! I'm joining in for the first time today...
I just got my photos posted! It was a tough theme at first and then I got on a roll.
Very nice photos - I love the shots from the school.
This is my first time to participate!
Whoo-hoo! Bring on the vintage!
Your photos were so emotional! I loved every single one. But of course, I knew I would.
Happy WWWAT!

Great pics! as usual =) Those infirmary boards are so neat!
And I'll have to post some "vintage" pics of Middlesex Valley Elem for you sometime soon. Tell me you remember a birthday I had where you and Kristen Lee came and there was dogfood involved??? Tell me I'm not crazy! =D
LOVE your pictures! The one of the Irish pub looks like it is at least 100 years old!
Your photos are amazing! I love the fur-trimmed gloves, so pretty!
I've been lurking for awhile, so I thought I'd finally participate today. :)
Nice shots. When I found out this week's theme, I couldn't resist.
these are all seriously so cool! i especially love the one of the pub... the way you edited it looks like you took a picture of a picture. great job, as always!
So I am back! Haven't done WWWAT in a while so happy to get my camera out again. I immediately knew what I would do when I saw the theme. AA
Wonderful photos, I loved looking at them! You're an amazing photographer . . . I love those gloves, they are gorgeous. This was my first week participating, I hope I did it right!!
This is the first time I've seen a size six since probably I wore size 6 in little girls dept! I couldn't believe it. I'm giving credit to the breastfeeding, because it took me 11 months to do it, with some treadmill and weights on the side. But, I just shop at Penny's, I don't think I'd be a size 6 in Old Navy or any of those "cool" stores =)
I didnt' live across from the school, my parents live down in Vine Valley by the lake. Some reason I remember you and Kristen Lee comign to my birthday and I think as a joke there was dog food involved as a present
I was so excited when I saw this theme. I've been wanting to join in for some time. So, here I am.
Now, that's not fare. You live in a wonderful place to take vintage pictures :). I loved them all!
